To provide core functionality, we collect and store:

  • Course codes, grades, and credit units

  • CGPA calculations and academic progress

1.3 Preferences

We may store your app preferences, including:

  • Grading scale (e.g., 4.0 or 5.0 system)
  • Theme settings (Light/Dark mode)

1.4 Usage Data (Analytics)

We may collect information about how you use the app, including:

  • App interactions (e.g., creating semesters, adding courses)
  • Academic milestones (e.g., CGPA progress events)
  • Session duration and feature usage

Note: This data is collected using Firebase Analytics and is used to improve app performance and user experience. We do not collect sensitive personal content

1.5 Crash and Diagnostic Data

If the app encounters an error, we may collect:

  • Device information
  • Error logs and stack traces

This information is collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain core app functionality
  • Sync your academic data across devices
  • Improve app performance and user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and fix technical issues.
  • Send essential system emails (e.g., password reset requests).

Note: We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Infrastructure: Your data is securely stored using Firebase services (Google Cloud Platform), including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore.
  • Security Measures: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

4. Data Sharing

  • No Commercial Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
  • Service Providers: We may share your data only with trusted service providers (e.g., Google Firebase) necessary to operate the app.

5. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
  • Account Deletion: If you delete your account, all associated personal and academic data is permanently removed from our system.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and Updates: You have the right to access and update your information directly within the app.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time via the app settings using the “Delete Account” option (which permanently removes all data).

7. App Permissions

The app only requires the following device permission:

  • Internet Access: Required to authenticate users and sync data with Firebase.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics)
  • Google Sign-In

Note: These services may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

9. Children’s Privacy

  • Age Limit: This app is not intended for children under the age of 13.
  • Data Protection: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take steps to delete it immediately.
